ABOUT ME

I live in Leicestershire with my husband Matt, our daughter Isobel and a menagerie of animals.

After graduating from Cambridge I went to work for Mike Gallemore, former editor of Sporting Life. During my time with his company I gained invaluable experience culminating in working at New Scotland Yard on the Police newspaper The Job. I moved into the frenetic and male dominated world of advertising spending five years developing and managing a large UK and International portfolio. After my success in the industry I went on to start up a business with two former colleagues specialising in introducing companies to new business partners. I understand the pressures and dynamics of running a company which I will draw on should I be selected as a PPC.

I now work for the most successful lobby group in the UK, the Countryside Alliance, recently crowned Channel 4 'Political Personality of the decade'. I intend to ensure that the countryside is listened to and that the long years of neglect by the Labour Government are put behind us. I have a proven track record when it comes to campaigning and defending the rights of the countryside.
